COVID-19: Update

I am sure you will be aware of the latest Government announcement regarding school closures in support of the national effort to manage the spread of COVID-19. At this point we have received no guidance from the Department for Education, other than what the Prime Minister announced tonight.

The proposed period of closure is as yet unknown, although we expect it to be until at least February half-term. As in the case of the last lock down, it is our intention to provide the best continuity of education for our pupils that we can throughout this period.

We will use the planned training day tomorrow to prepare for this new period of closure and we will contact parents and carers tomorrow with continuity arrangements for your children.

I am sure you will understand that any provision on our sites will be dependent upon the health & safety and staffing available at the site daily.
